अलंकृता / Alankrita
The word ‘Alankrit/Alankrita’ is a common name and has its roots in classical Sanskrit and a popular variation of the word means to decorate, adorn or embellish. It doesn’t only mean external attributes but inner gracefulness.

Interestingly, the word appears in multiple Indian languages as well, bearing the same meaning. As a visual expression, I wanted to bring in ornate, abstract and floral motifs within an Indian context, like a pop-art poster having a retro-modernistic style.
